I recently competed in the Saint Thomas Fowler Concept Challenge - an innovation competition for graduate and undergraduate students. My concept was called 'SmartPark' and at it's core is a demand-based pay structure and capability which allows consumers to reserve and purchase parking spots at garages and lots in advance. I was pleased to win 2nd place at the competition - winning a scholarship and meeting many other great entrepreneurss. In addition, I enjoyed the challenge of defining a growth-oriented business model, and competing in two rounds of pitches in front of a panel of industry leaders.
